Our story
Making Korea feel like home
Keasy started with a problem none of us could solve alone. We came to Korea as international students, and the hardest part was never the studying. It was everything around it: opening a bank account, decoding a phone contract, finding a clinic where someone spoke English, working out which visa rule applied this year.
The information existed. It was just scattered across outdated blogs, half-translated notices and group chats where the same questions were asked every week, and answered slightly differently every time.
So we started writing things down properly, in one shared Google Doc. Which taxi app has an English version. Where to change money. Which market to bargain in, and the phrase to bargain with. The list kept growing because people kept asking for the next thing.
People we had never met began sending corrections and asking for the next one. That was the moment it stopped being a side project.

OASIS-1: the first step
Completed the Ministry of Justice and Ministry of SMEs and Startups start-up immigration course (창업이민종합지원시스템), run by the Korea Invention Promotion Association.
Twelve hours that turned “we should build this” into a plan with a legal path.

Korea’s Ministry of Education selected Montem Flumen for the 학생창업유망팀 300+ leap track, recognising the team’s capability and growth potential.
It was the first time anyone outside our circle told us the idea was worth backing.

An Encouragement Award at the 2024 산학연협력 EXPO Student Startup Festival, on the international-student demo day, from the Korea Entrepreneurship Foundation.

Telecom retail partnerships
Agreements with 위즈모바일 and 일등모바일, two licensed telecom retailers in Daejeon, so a newcomer can get a phone plan and home internet arranged by someone who stays accountable for the contract instead of a shop that switches to Korean the moment a question gets hard.
Both hold a KAIT prior-approval certificate (사전승낙서), the registration Korea requires before anyone may sell a mobile contract at all: 위즈모바일 in store for SKT, KT and LG U+, 일등모바일 online for SKT.
