About

Expo Science Park is a science-themed park created to preserve the legacy of the 1993 World Exposition (Daejeon Expo), held in Daejeon, and is located in Doryong-dong, Yuseong-gu, Daejeon.
It officially opened in 1994 after the exposition ended, and has been operated as a space where citizens can experience science, technology, and cultural content in their daily lives.
Initially, it had various exhibition halls and experience facilities, but from 2014, through a reorganization process, some facilities were demolished, and only key structures such as Hanbit Tower, the Expo Memorial Hall, and the Music Fountain Plaza have been preserved and are still in use.
Hanbit Tower is a symbol of Expo Science Park, a 93-meter-high observation tower with a unique structure.
From here, you can see the entire city of Daejeon at a glance, and it is a complex space where science, art, nature, and education harmonize in the city center.
In particular, in the evening, it is a popular night view spot where the Hanbit Tower media facade and music fountain come together, attracting many citizens and tourists.
Currently, the Daejeon Tourism Organization manages the park, and it hosts various cultural and tourism events such as seasonal nighttime content, family participation programs, and festival-linked events, providing unique experiences for both citizens and tourists.
